I think I have had this stamp since I started stamping but have never used it and for some reason I thought I would give it an outing. The idea for the card came from the sketch on the Arty Girlz challenge.

This card is for my friend's 50th birthday next week. Whilst I know that she won't want to shout about it, I didn't think I could let this landmark birthday past without at least a small mention on her card. The idea for this card came from the sketch for Dutch Dare's Challenge #4.

A challenge from Daring Cardmakers to make a card in 30 mins - something I am going to have to get use to soon if I stand any chance of keeping cardmaking. Anyway I made this card for a family wedding next month that sadly we are not going to make and it took me 25 minutes to make, if you exclude the time it took for the glossy accent to dry....

The Bears

It is my sister's second wedding anniversary soon and I decided to use one of the photos from their wedding day to create this card as I know it will make her and her husband chuckle. I was inspired by the sketch on 2 sketches 4 you. When it came to making the flowers, I was disappointed to find out the sticky accent beads I had were old and dried out so I had to use some loose ones but I think the effect may actually be better.

I had a creative day yesterday but time ran away with me so that I didn't have a chance to post any of designs for the day. I designed this card in response to the OCC challenge to use brads and buttons on a card and is for for some friends that recently got engaged.

Finally, I have got round to blogging and here is my first card. I was inspired by the Think Pink challenge on Caardvarks and made this card for my friend's birthday next month (I am trying to get ahead of the game before the baby arrives). Sadly this image doesn't bring out the pinks in the ribbon - oh well, will have to work on that.....
